Baby's Week 4

The week of implantation is truly a miraculous event. A new life has begun. Many emotions will come with this new reality, but we pray you would be able to give thanks for this incredible gift God has given you, no matter the situation or circumstance. God chose this life inside of you and He is quietly at work in your womb doing what He does best...creating life out of His abundant love. God is the giver and creator of life….HE is the one who dreamed up your child who will grow to be a glorious expression of His endless creativity, fearfully and wonderfully made! The unique fingerprint of God will begin to take shape in the weeks to come as your baby grows and develops.

Today, take some time to praise God for His remarkable and wonderful works as the giver and creator of life. Your baby’s first home has been chosen. You are a mother! We pray you will invite God into the crazy journey of pregnancy as your body begins to grow and change and as your heart prepares for motherhood. Fear not…you are not alone. God is near; He is living and He is active! Allow His presence to fill your heart and mind today and give you joy! Congratulations! We are thrilled for you and hope to be an encouragement every step of the way.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for this miracle of life inside of me. This news has me full of conflicting emotions like fear and excitement, anticipation and worry. I trust You with this new life, and with mine. Jesus, please come near and bring protection to my body, guard my heart and mind, and allow me to experience Your presence today.

Holy Spirit, thank you for breathing life into my womb! You are knitting together my child moment by moment. What an incredible thought! This new life is part of Your great plan for the world and I pray that my baby would grow into a strong and healthy Christ follower. Help me surrender to Your truth and trust that You are good. I have nothing to fear! Thank you for making me a mother, in Jesus’ name,

For You formed my inward parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
